The following are common games of chance which center stage the gambling world of Heyoka. Some of them equate to real world games such as dice, card games, chess, or dominoes.
Pillar Dominoes - Using carved Pillars of ivory, the currency of the Maza, the Maza create a row of dominoes and then topple them over, scoring points on how many topple.
Dracevole Hunts & Racing - Common among the Kangi clan, gamblers bet on either the hunters or a released Dracevole, to see which would win. Dracevole raisers also race their favored pets, as another form of gambling and to see which Dracevoles are most likely to win during a hunt.
Ghebet Cards - Common among many clans, especially the Kangi clan who prefer drinking and cards, as well as analyzing the numerical probabilities of card draws.
Hunter's Dice - A game among the Waken clan, Hunter's dice uses ivory dice carved from bones of prey animals and cast. Waken clan members usually gamble as a way to accumulate extra furs or resources from a recent hunt.
Top - A game that uses a multi-sided "Steam Top" that is charged up from a steam gauntlet and then spins via a gyroscope before falling on a random number. It is popular among the Mila clan.
Kings - A Owa clan game which uses carved figurines across a specialized board, it is similar to the real world game of chess, with the exception that up to 6 players can compete at a time. The boards are hexagonal shaped and often each player carries his or her own board and pieces and then combines them with another player.
Pejulan Ghebet Cards - A Pejulan form of gambling, the rules of Ghebet are switched and often more complex. This card game features prominently in the Temples of Fala.
